Nokia N9 Smartphone – The First and Latest MeeGo Platform Device

This new smartphone from Nokia is the first phone with MeeGo platform, the beautiful and slim, all-screen Nokia N9. MeeGo is the latest Linux-based open source mobile operating system, replacing the Maemo OS. The Nokia N9 is also packs the latest in camera, navigation and audio technology for a great innovative experience. It features a curved 3.9-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass. It also doesn’t have any buttons on the front, a unique design for N9, so all navigation is handled with virtual buttons and gestures in MeeGo. Inside, the Nokia N9 is equipped with a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 CPU matched with PowerVRSGX530 GPU and 1GB of RAM, powers the platform. The Nokia N9 also sports an 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss wide-angle auto-focus camera that is capable of capturing 720p videos.
