Nokia, one of the world’s biggest mobile phone companies has also announced in the Mobile World Congress 2008 the new member of the Nokia N-Series family, the Nokia N78. The Nokia N78 is a phone and multimedia computer all in-one that combines music, navigation and photography with the benefits of mobility. Taking advantage of its integrated A-GPS functionality, the Nokia N78 automatically tags images captured by its 3.2 megapixels Carl Zeiss optics camera with capture location metadata, making it possible to view the capture location on a map either on the device itself or online. It also features a card slot which can accommodate up to 8GB microSD cards, FM transmitter, and WLAN and HSDPA support. With its high-speed internet connectivity, over WLAN(3.5G) or HSPDA(3.6 Mbits/s), the Nokia N78 can access the Nokia Music Store, Nokia Maps, Nokia Internet Radio, and Share on Ovi — Nokia’s new online service personal media sharing community, Flickr or YouTube with a single key stroke. Nokia N78 is equipped with 369 MHz ARM 11 Processor, Symbian OS S60 release 3.2 operating software, GPRS Class 11 with upto 118.4 kbps speed connection, HSCDS (High speed Cable Data Service connection) and EDGE Class 32 with upto 296kbps speed connection. And because music remains a core feature of the Nokia N78 and Nokia’s range of Nseries multimedia computers, the N78 also offers 5-channel graphic equalizer with integrated stereo speakers, support for standard 3.5mm headphones and allows easy fransfer of music from compatible PC or notebook PC using Nokia Music Manager software. The N78 also comes with Nokia Internet Radio, giving instant access to thousands of radio stations around the world. The Nokia N78 mobile phone is also equipped with standard fast USB v2.0 port (miniUSB port) which is used for both power recharging and PC connectivity for data exchange.

The Nokia N78 N-Series phone is already available in the market for approximately $400-$779.99 amongst 10 sellers.
